Is there an archery target setup anywhere in the lands that simulates a live target with respect to aiming locations? If not, maybe someone could look at setting one up that acts as a like level target for competitions and practice.

Failing that, is there a more traditional archery bullseye target available in the lands? I recall there being one at EG? a year or two back but am wondering about year round.

I believe Willow Hall has one, as well, although I assume it's members-only. They seem to be a pretty active house, though. If you asked around, you might find a member willing to escort you inside for some target practice. :)

So... The Ta Illstim archery range doesn't permit crossbows to be used (and the archery competition at EG doesn't permit crossbows either). As such, I am still looking for a crossbow friendly archery range with public access. I find it hard to believe that there isn't anyplace in the lands where you can simply go and fire your crossbow at a target short of finding a live 'volunteer'. Certainly prospective archers must practice someplace before going out into the wild and shooting at anything that moves.

If such a place simply doesn't exist at this time, maybe we could look to have a humanoid shape target hung up on a wall in some back alley someplace.

Thread hijack... Sort of.

The subject made me think of the target verb. Then I thought about target shooting with a miss and an arrow flying of into another room. Then I thought it would be a great cman to be able to shoot into adjacent rooms at a target that has left the room you are in.
