Any reason claidhmores aren't valid edged weapons in the autoscripter list? Any chance they could be added?

Due to the crit weighting, most likely, is why they don't work with the autoscripter.

My understanding is that any weapon that has flares or crit/damage weighting, that aspect takes the slot that scripts would go - but this was what I learned years ago so I'm not 100% sure it still holds true today. Anyway, that would be my guess as to why they don't work with the autoscripter.

This can't be true because it works with katanas.

It's possible the script in question only makes sense for small bladed weapons. Could you let me know which option you were looking at? Thanks!

Well there are other 2 handed weapons on their respective "edged" and "blunt" lists as well. Weapons such as flails, war mattocks, katanas, bastard swords, mauls, military picks, etc. I do realize that not all 2 handers are on these lists (like the claidhmore), but I'm curious as to why. The ones that are missing aren't THAT much bigger than some of the other THWs that are on the lists. When reading through the expected scripts, I wouldn't think any of them are inappropriate for a larger sword.

The script I would expect to see on a claidhmore would be similar to the one I can put on a katana:

Amolith hefts his crimson vaalorn katana a few times, admiring its workmanship.
Looking calm and confident, Amolith tightens his grip on his crimson vaalorn katana.
Amolith raises his crimson vaalorn katana in a gesture of triumph!
Amolith holds his crimson vaalorn katana menacingly out in front of him, its sharp edge glinting in the sunlight.
Amolith pulls his crimson vaalorn katana close in to his body, its keen edge pointing outward.
As Amolith tilts his crimson vaalorn katana from side to side, sunlight dances across its keen-edged blade.
Amolith carefully buffs the blade of his crimson vaalorn katana.
Amolith sets the blade of his katana into the ground and stands confidently behind it.
Amolith taps the blade of his crimson vaalorn katana against the ground.
The blade of Amolith's crimson vaalorn katana slices cleanly through the air as he brings it around in a sweeping arc.

Yay! Thanks!

Your claidhmore seems to leap into the air of its own volition as you raise it in a gesture of triumph!
