I suggest item property removal as a 100 point service. We submit a Sadie scroll stating, for example, "i want weighting/flares/padding/script removed from my item", GM reviews, player accepts, item goes poof, item comes back without the property.

It's a well-demanded service, especially in advance of big merchant event. From a player perspective, it appears to be a fairly simple thing to accomplish for GMs, but I could see how this could differ depending on item complexity.
