OK, I am a little disappointed in the reaction by the powers that be.
"Hey we have this problem!"
"No you don't"
"The way that F2P is set up makes the game not fun"
"Yes it is"
"Don't you think ALL of these complaints may indicate that there may actually be a problem?"
"Of course not, feedback is meaningless and if people complain it is just because they are haters. anyway, please keep this feedback coming because we are listening!"
I was 1 week into my free trial when this F2P kicked in, and when i first heard I was really excited. Now though, I am really sad. After this one week, here are restrictions I have personally run into.
My bank account is exceeded.
I cannot receive spells
My locker got locked up with NO warning with all my gear in there.
Hunting gives me no loot
I run into item carry limits
Here is the thing, micro transactions work by taking a fun game, and giving you the opportunity to be MORE fun...for a nominal fee. The F2P game you have put out is NOT fun, and you think people are going to say "Wow this game sucks, maybe I should spend money to see if it gets fun?". You talk about the expansive massive world of Elanthia? But that is a little specious. How big is the world for new players? They do not have the access to the vast majority of the game, so no it can not suck them in because again, they don't get to experience the fun.
Here is my big question, What makes someone enjoy the F2P tier? What makes them want to pay for this game? (really not trying to be a jerk, but this is a BIG deal to me, I want this game to thrive and I am worried for it)
Hunting? Kindof, but without loot it becomes pretty tedious.
Social interactions? Not when you can't get spells, or cast spells. Not when you have no boxes to take to the pickers. Not when nobody can give you gear to "try" or "hold on to" because you can't store it anywhere, Not when you can't even join a society (BTW a level 3 ability you took away? It seems like these are really geared towards getting people to "need" these micro transactions within the first couple days, how does that give anyone a chance to enjoy anything?
Cool gear? Nope, can't store anything, so unless you want to be burdened by the first gem you pick up you basically have to sell everything. (if you get anything, since again, no loot.)
Expansive World? Not when they can't really FEEL the expanse before they are hemmed up by a laundry list of restrictions and charges.
Here are my suggestions. Get rid of the loot reduction, it kills enjoyment and puts pickers out of work and therefor hurts the community feeling. Get rid of the casting receiving restriction, It's just a nuisance and again, hurts the community, which should be the #1 positive of this game. Give F2P accounts a 20 space locker (hell, even 10 so they could store a couple pieces of gear they didn't want to sell.) Include 1 free bank move token,
I do like the idea of giving an equal credit to F2P's (14.95, or maybe enough to buy ALL upgrades for that first month) Let them play the REAL game, the one we all love, for a month, show them what they can get for paying, BEFORE they have to pay.
I really hope you take this with the love I mean it with. I don't have the energy to go trash talking everything just for giggles, I put in the time to write this up because I care, and I am worried.
Many thanks.

P.S. While I was writing this, my assist for my locked locker came in. I don't want to give any details, on the off chance someone may find a way to exploit it, but my assist took care of my locker issues 120%. Here is a direct quote from me to my assister, "That...is the best, simpilest solution I could have asked for and never thought of." So while I still think F2P should get SOME locker space, I appreciate the efforts you are doing to take care of people who signed up for the 30 day trial.
