I started a f2p account...got dumped in ta'vaalor and hired a guide to wehnimer's. Now that i'm here it won't let me deposit any silvers saying i can only bank in one town. Is there any way to set what town that is?

Your home bank is chosen when you first DEPOSIT silvers into a bank. Once you've chosen a bank, you need a bank transfer from the SimuCoins store to change your home bank.
I can see about adding a blurb before you begin a travel guide trip if you are leaving the town your home bank is in.

There is the bank account transfer for 100 simucoins. ($1)
I will test to see if I can withdraw all my silvers from the landing bank and manually move them to solhaven.
(No) - [Because your account is free, you don't have access to bank accounts in multiple towns.]
That seems like a serious flaw.
It should be possible to manually move your silvers from one bank to another bank, being limited to 1 active bank account at any time. Or the cost of the bank account transfer should be significantly reduced (10 simucoins instead of 100).

As Vanah said, if you've already deposited that town's bank is flagged for you.
But yea, I don't get why you couldn't withdraw the whole amount (assuming you don't exceed any separate on person silver limit) to walk it over. Otherwise, how would the bank know you are not just withdrawing for in-town use?

Personally I feel this limitation to only one bank at a time and an out of game cost to move to be too limiting. This severely limits a F2P accounts ability to move to another town. At the very least there should have been an in game bank account mover like the locker mover and the pass would have let you have accounts in every town.

More to the direct issue. If F2P can only amass X amount of coins in any bank, why does it even remotely matter if they are scattered across seven banks?
I really don't see how all these gum-balled restrictions are going to create new paying accounts, if they cannot experience the game without being .05 & .10 at every turn.

I'd probably lump this into more of a pre-premium era thing. Back then we commonly only had 1 bank or 1 town we operated from and if we moved cities, which was a hard choice, we then moved lockers and banks. This might be more of old players moving back to cities they preferred, but I suppose f2p cannot pick starting location.

When you are just following the sprite around and it brings you to the bank, you do not think you are committing to the town, especially when you're carrying a travel token. It seems too basic to be subject to SimuCoin.
I hope something is changed with this, it is a bit much when the only option is outside of the game itself.
