So if someone get's this promotion and decides they would like to pay the additional $10 to play Gemstone IV Platinum would that be an option.
I can understand if this is a prime only promotion but I think in the spirit of capitalism this should be an option.

Platinum will have its own promotion during the summer months, and I expect it to be just as spectacular, if not more so! As for the upgrade, I'll let the PTB give a more definitive answer but my guess would be no, that this is a Premium promotion designed for the Prime instance and they could not just 'upgrade' their trial by paying $10.

I've almost talked an old friend into coming back, but when she checked the promo page she saw it ended the 31st and won't bother reactivating if she only gets a 3 day window to play. If she reactivates before the 31st will she be eligible for the full 30 days or will the promo expire on the 31st?
