If 208 works to steal F2P spells, that bypasses the bot limitations of the F2P characters without requiring a spell pass and makes the spell overpowered. Yet another advantage spiritualists enjoy for no extra cost.

Yes, since someone posted they use paladins for this purpose. This is something you used to not be able to get unless you paid for a utility account.
If someone can't see that clerics, empaths, and sorcerers (with scrolls since they have partial spiritual CS) being able to benefit from an almost unlimited range of rare spells from F2P bots without having to pay for an account is a privilege enjoyed by no other profession, who has to pay for a spell pass to get access to the spells, I don't know what to tell you.

Only clerics, empaths, and sorcerers get CS benefit from 1612, however, and it used to be a subscription level benefit to have another utility character for the purpose of using 208 to steal spells. I mean, this is a large reason why people have multi-premium accounts to begin with. More and more reason to dump to basic and F2P.

If I want to 208 1612 off a F2P paladin...that would require a lot of effort. I would have to hunt...without a bounty more than 1x an hour...with no lumnis...and grind...and equip...at great cost of time to myself. Time I value as currency, to invest in a F2P to exploit something I could fetch for silver at a merchant, or a scroll I find in the pawnshop, or from a real live friend.
Just easier and more effective for me to harass Nairdin if I want to 208 a paladin spell, which I never do since all spells I can 208 pretty much exist in the scroll system already for me to unlock for any profession friend.

Just because you don't do it doesn't mean people didn't post they did. Anyway, the point is that one spell should not enable access to all other outside beneficial spells when it is obvious from the spell passes that paying subscribers are supposed to pay for the privilege of getting other-cast spells. This is about subscribers getting an additional subscription level benefit for free from a F2P bot, something that no other spell or benefit enables. If you're actually F2P, it doesn't affect you at all.

Using 208 to get around F2P spell-casting restrictions feels like GMA to me, and should probably fail outright.
Using 208 while you have a spell-receiving pass or on an F2P character with a spell-casting pass should be as legitimate as it is on a paid account, which I don't have a good opinion on.
