I'm training into 10 earth lore for the 1% HCP. I think its a great addition to 430 and I can't cast it yet. Viduus nailed the 520 reaction with it fading. I'd not argue this one guys. Keep up trying to get 520 to match 716 in more ways with the defensive flare reactive as more of an innate, but don't lop the 430 change in with it.
It fits great.

<Viduus's Post
Hey I like Estild fine but when I hear the solution to breaking haste for warmages is they can take a knee for 2 min... Faith is rapidly diminished.
If I was told that there were strong buffs to go along with the huge nerfs I would be willing to have faith until everything was rolled out. But when we're told, nah, ELR is small stuff! Only the nerfs are big! ...I'm really not sure how else wizards could possibly react other than with disdain for ELR.
If you're going to do a spell review, do the whole thing. Don't just cripple the good stuff and move on. So far I'm not seeing anything in ELR that requires broad, drastic nerfs to the main wizard spells to balance.
Meh, I feel I'm repeating myself now.
430, it's okay I guess. Suffers from what I will now dub ELR Seed Syndrome and leave it at that.

<<<Deep down, I think we all want the same thing. A challenging, interesting, and fun game that keeps you coming back for more. We won't always agree (sometimes heatedly) on how we get there, and that's ok.>>>
More sanity! This concept seems frequently lost. The point of the game is the game. People forget that "GM" stands for "Game Master." GMs are not merely employees, or customer service reps. They don't exist to "serve" the player base. Their job is to create a rich, immersive, fantasy RPG game world, complete with rules, challenges, and rewards. It's awesome they are so willing to hear our feedback and help provide the type of game we collectively want to play, but that is all icing. The Game Masters must be in control and have the final say. That is how you preserve game integrity over the long term.
<<<As long as everyone remembers at the end of the day that if you don't kick my dog, I won't set your hair on fire... probably.>>>
You just became my favorite GM. :)
