Dear friends,

Cuttak has been sucessfully under-hunting dirges and greater spiders in the graveyard until recently.

I recently switched from wearing 4x studded leather, to 4x brig. I am over-trained for brig, with 28 ranks in armor use.

But now I'm getting webbed far too often. I went from NEVER getting webbed wearing 4x studded leather, to getting webbed three times in the last twelve hunts or so.

Can anyone explain this? I have 17 ranks in combat maneuvers, and I cast Patron's Blessing for an additional 10 ranks in combat maneuvers, for a total of 27 ranks in combat maneuvers while hunting.

Should I switch back to 4x studded leather?

Heavier armor will give you a heavier penalty towards maneuver attacks (aside from being undertrained). Clerics and empaths with enough lore (it doesn't require much) can cast Untrammel on you to give you a second chance at defending the web ( http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Untrammel ).
