I'd known this was bugged and/or wrong on the wiki for awhile now. I had a fixskills to burn so I did some testing. I updated the wiki to reflect my findings.

What I'd really like to know is this -

Is 1616 working as intended and the spell description has just been wrong since release?

Or is the spell bugged?

I ask because I'm thinking of selling a couple of enhancive items and getting more of my max health enhancive cap from 1616.

What's your actual question? What's the lore progression for the spell?

I mean, if you want to post the real lore progression on the wiki, that would be great.

I'm asking for clarification as to whether it's bugged (and thus liable to be fixed) or if the actual lore progression for the spell is the way you want it to stay.

There was a time when Guard the Meek had double the duration that would be expected based on the spell description. That was fixed, presumably because it was a bug. So which is this?

The constitution enhancive also increases your HP independent of the HP enhancive. Not sure why you're seeing +24 HP rather than +25 at 0 ranks of lore, though.

The data on the wiki talk page (not sure why you didn't link it: https://gswiki.play.net/Talk:Vigor_(1616) ) is definitely weird, though. I'll see what happens for my much-lower-level paladin the next time he gets a level.

Summarizing the questions/research by the OP:

1) The documented progression for 1616 is as follows:

Base +4 to CON (raw stat), max +10 to CON at 40 ranks of Paladin circle
Base +8 to HP, max +20 HP at 40 Paladin circle
Additional Blessings lore bonus to HP by seed(1)

2) The actual observed effect:

A half-elf paladin has 160 HP without the spell
The CON bonus from casting the spell is +10, same as documentation
With 0 Blessings and 40 Paladin circle, he has 184 HP after casting the spell, so there is a +24 HP benefit. This is different from the documented max of +20.
As Blessings ranks increase, the HP benefit increases but not on a seed(1) progression. For example, with 1 rank there is an additional +3 HP, with 2 ranks +4, with 3 ranks +5, etc. The full table of observed values was posted on the discussion page: https://gswiki.play.net/Talk:Vigor_(1616)

PFLATS is correct on why it's 24 (the bonus 4 is from the CON enhancive) and that it should technically be +25. I just fixed that.

It's mostly a seed 1 summation based upon Spiritual Lore, Blessings skill. It doesn't follow the actual seed summation chart, since it counts ranks/skill in between the noted thresholds.

I haven't yet made it up the 1600s in my ongoing spell page review, but definitely read it as ranks for the Lore Chart. This issue goes back to the play.net page:

>Training in Spiritual Lore, Blessings provides a bonus an HP bonus of +1 at 1 rank to a maximum of +19 at 190 ranks.
>Spiritual Lore, Blessings bonus thresholds: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, 55, 66, 78, 91, 105, 120, 136, 153, 171, and 190 ranks

Are there any other Paladin Base spells misidentified as being based on ranks?
