Are the old style ones still useable? The new style ones seem to be inferior in my opinion. Was also wondering if the new style ones can take and hold an eblade or an enchant.

Oldstyle naginatas can still be used. Newstyle are better in the sense that they have that much more room for enchant. I think only the newstyle magic metal naginatas were fixed, but that situation just made me really depressed so I didn't pay attention to it too closely.
