In 2008 a photo surfaced of Obama standing on a stage with Bill Richardson and Hillary Clinton during the National Anthem. Richardson and Clinton had their hands on their heart, but Obama did not.

For days, Fox News ran the story and showed the photo over and over. They interviewed anybody and everybody who was willing to come on their programs and say that the photo showed that Obama was unpatriotic.

Now a photo has surfaced of the Republican candidates standing on a stage during the National Anthem. Unlike the other candidates, Rick Perry does not have his hand on his heart.

<< This leaves me curious. Will the picture of the Republican candidates lead to widespread questions about Perry's patriotism? Will be it be shown, over and over again, on cable news? Will the Texas governor be asked for an explanation?
