Hello!
I'm recently back to the game, and have some questions about forging jobs and how much they generally cost. First:
Can naginatas be forged?
How hard is it to obtain white ora or eonake for forging purposes?
Assuming that the answer to the first question is "yes" and that the answer to the second question is anything other than "impossible," how much would a forging job like that generally run (both for white ora and for eonake, if the metal makes a difference in skill required), and how hard is it to find someone available for work?

I don't believe a naginata glyph has ever been released.
white ora nor eonake are commonly available metals. However, usually at Ebon's Gate their is a slab generating automated merchant that releases the rare metals. Generally a small but serviceable amount of white ora and eonake is released (more so white ora). So this is a good time if you're looking to commission a piece of those metals.
Typically perfectly forged weapons cost 1-3m depending on metal, base, etc. Since there is no naginata base i don't know what your backup would be, most pole users want lances. A lance is not an off the shelf glyph, but they have been released and you can find someone to make you one. There is one player shop in particular which has several forged lances, including several ELEGANT eonake lances.

Eonake and white ora are generally only obtainable from the annual Ebon Gate slab generator shop or by buying it from players who have found some via that same afore mentioned shop. Prices vary by merchant and proximity of date to Ebon's ;).

if the naginata is for a paladin,once the paladin has the spell to paladin bond, any naginata can be bonded to and made sanctified with the spell in the hands of that paladin only.as can any weapon really so don't limmit yer paladin to white ora and eonake only unless it an RP thing.Most paladins find they get more bang for the buck with standard magic metal weapons
I would suggest not wasting time using a halberd or a naginata.
There's very little wrong with a perfect lance or perfect awl pike, for those slower races.

Oops! Guess I should've read all the way through the Paladin spell list, heheh - I'd never played one before, and I was unaware of the spell. Now that I know that, I guess all this is rather a moot point. ^_^;;
That being said, the choice of halberd/naginata over a lance is more an aesthetic/RP choice, so I think I'll stick with one of those.
