My main character is extremely race conscious, so I've taken to highlighting characters according to their race. On a lark, I hit a WHO FULL about half an hour ago and counted how many characters were in each race. Bear in mind that characters might have rerolled and my count ended up around 13 short of the actual number. I don't know why, though. I also ran short the last time I counted for some reason.
Here's what I came up with.
Dark Elf - 69
Giant - 66
Half-Elf - 66
Human - 53
Elf - 39
Sylvan - 38
Halfling - 20
Dwarf - 16
Half-Krolvin - 9
Aelotoi - 5
Burghal Gnome - 4
Erithian - 4
Forest Gnome - 3
Make of it what you will.

Dark elves make the best sorcerer, and giants the best warriors. With clear-cut racial advantages to each profession, there will always be many willing to play the numbers game.
Is anyone truly surprised that not all that many people want to play gnomes ... let alone two different types of gnomes?
Evarin and his Mis'ri
Imagine there's no heaven. It's easy if you try.

Well. There's more people who want to play gnomes over Erithians or Aelotoi.
