I can't seem to find a way to display my new character's culture when looked at, I see the option under profile, but that doesn't work. Could someone please remind me how to do this?

If you have a culture, it will always be displayed. If you haven't already selected a culture, you can do so with the TITLE command. Assuming you're referring to the currently logged-in character on the account you posted from, that character hasn't selected a culture yet.

>What is the logic behind not being able to hide culture once selected? How does someone know that Yipsy is from Bourth just by looking at her?
If you select a culture, that means that you're indicating that your character has the mannerisms or speech patterns or accent that are indicative of being from Bourth, whatever those are. If you don't think your character's cultural background would be recognizable by someone "in the know" on such things, you should leave your culture blank.

Except that if you are a Faendryl elf - but dont believe you would be recognised as one and so dont chose that as your culture, you wont be able to read the journal in the Nations' sorcerer guild. A minor anomaly perhaps.
My sorceress would not be "recognizable" as being Faendryl through speech or mannerisms, possibly not even recognisable as being "dark elven" - though she is not fair skinned. I would like to be able to set her viewed race to elf - setting it to just dark elf is pointless as she definately isnt Dhe'nari.

Since we're actually discussing titles, it might be best if we move this discussion to the General Roleplaying, Titles topic, to keep things better organized. Thanks.
