Is there a spell training path which is considered standard for Paladins?
My guy is 3x armor, 2x shield, 2x blunt, 1x CM, 1x PF, 1x harness power, 1x spell, and utility skills as they come affordable.
I'm currently level 26. I've ran the Paladin spell circle up to 1625 (Primarily because I wanted to sanctify/bond with a perfect morning star ASAP) without any adversity, but have been debating shooting up to 107 (or beyond?) before I hit Judgement.
I very, very rarely use any sort of magical attack. Divine Strike is OK and all but there's no feasible way it could become part of my hunting repertoire this early on.

You will want Divine Intervention (1635) by level 35. Whether that's 1x spells every level, or playing catch-up and getting a few spells all at once at 35.
Divine Strike is useful, but at those levels isn't really necessary. I would suggest by your 40's or so you do invest in the lore necessary to maximize the kneeling for Divine Strike and Judgement. I would also suggest getting the lore for Judgement to hit 3-4 targets, as it's our only real useful area spell, unless you plan to devote TPs to expensive MoC.

Being able to BESEECH with 1635 is a game changer and the reason you want to have spells as a paladin.
My own training was much different than most folks here -- at cap, I still only have marginal lores, and will until probably 2x cap at the minimum.
I did 101-103 first, then made sure I had 1635 at 35th -- it was tight! I then singled up through 120, back to 1640, then up to 140 again around 90th. Bear in mind, I'm in plat, so 1640 was a decision I made due to a paucity of rezzers at times. My once-per-day has helped a lot.
I find without heavy lores (I have the 15 ranks of Summoning to help with 1603), that I get by fine. I'm at 7% failure on paladin spells, and not bad on the MnS list. Not great, but not bad when coupled with 1603.
Why I'm low on lores -- again, I find I do just fine without at the moment at 8 million+ in EXP -- is that I have 70 ranks of MOC and 200 ranks of armor for fluidity. I'm five or so ranks away from fully doubled in CMANs, and then it's onto 2x PF (singled currently) and then THW (I'm sword and board with a banshee mantlet) so I can use my great eonake katana (currently 5x). Then it'll be TWC so I can have even more fun. THEN it's lores, unless I accumulate a huge amount of TPs, which seems to be happening currently.
But lores are by no means necessary. Nice? Sure. I have some enhancives which give me some nice boosts in paladin lores that I use on special occasions.
My eventual plan, if I ever get there, is to get to 16100, simply for casting reasons. That's a grind I'll likely mix with some other things.
