I've got a young Rogue I rolled up a couple weeks ago and I thought I'd get some advice while he's still in his 30 days since I've never played a character that ambushed from hiding with a sword. Initially I had him at 2x Shield with no Dodge training, but figured it was better to 1x in each so I switched it... I haven't had him hunting since I made the change, but I'll see how much of a difference it makes.
My main concern is if the CMAN training is going to be worth it or if those points would be better spent getting more dodge training... at the moment, TPs are tight, but I have his stats allocated for growth so that'll change eventually. Any other glaring mistakes that are pointed out will be appreciated.

<<I would try to 1x cm and get smastery since you plan to ambush.>>
Does smastery make much of a differance for rangers other then reducing RT for sneaking since we have 601 and 617?
I thought about getting it but settled on Shield Bash in the end....
