First time using a shield. I'm currently 2x in shield and 1x in dodge, what size shield works best for me? Currently i'm using a large shield, but the idea of a tower appeals to me. What would be required to wield one effectively?
Shield Maneuvers: Currently using bash and riposte, I like riposte a lot. Could do with out bash. What are some go to maneuvers I should not miss? It takes so long to unlearn so I'm scared to choose something worthless. Any advice?

I don't know what shield to recommend for you, but if you wanted to make the more to tower shield, drop dodge until later. Tower shields destroy dodge benefits, so those points will go to much better use elsewhere.
I recommend starting with Bash and your focus as your first two skills. They are really the core skills, everything else is personal preference.

Shield man. also depends on cman build if a block master deflection and blocking man. have a better chance of triggering.In sword and board combat you can use cmans and shield mans together, like block mastery,some shield skills are constant and only have a chance of working when you block, block mastery raise the chance of blocks.
If you have the ranks, and it requires quite a few, trample with trample mastery is the bomb. If you 3x train shields, are trained in trample mastery and use a tower shield, you can consistently knock down 5 like level foes at a time with trample. You can also use a large shield for trample, but I do not know how effective it is. Crowd control has been a warrior weakness for years. This is one way to tackle that problem.
