Ok shield users topic pretty much explains my question but why would one want to use shield pin over shield strike? The other warrior exclusive sman is fantastic but this one leaves me scratching my head thinking I'm missing something. Anyone know the amount of weighting this adds because (not counting spikes and flares) since pin doesn't knockdown, damage, stance etc it would have to be substantial to overcome the potential stuns and knockdowns from shield strike. For testing purposes I can post logs of my warrior using both before resetting some skills if that would help the discussion.
