Yeah. Broom is still not there after posting here, assisting and bugging in game. I am thinking of making a trip to the Landing soon anyway to unload some items (no player market in vaalor) and see what the big city is like these days.

There is a Sorcerer Guild in Illistim, if you don't want to go to the Landing for the reasons Evarin mentioned above.

Thanks for the suggestions. Heard about the invasion. Didn't know it was still going strong... so maybe I'll put things off. (Too young to really contribute.)

I'll consider the other towns too. Off topic now, but good hunting for 17th level sorcerer in either of those places?

The broom has been found thanks to another Sorcerer I ran into in the area.

I'm not going to give it away, but I will say that there should maybe be an in-game hint for where to find it. Or a response when asking the Guild Masters about "broom". Although I suppose usually you should be able to find at least one other sorcerer who's found it before.

Anyway, it's not exactly in the guild, but near the guild. There.

There was a bug when I picked it up, it said something like "You get a broom from a .[sic]" Get a broom from a what? Made me think maybe there really is still a bigger bug.

But I was able to sweep, and I'm moving on with my alchemy training.

So I'm starting out with alchemy and just got a task to sweep the workshop. I found the pan in the closet, but I don't see a broom anywhere.

There are no sorcerers around TaVaalor usually to ask for help (need some illusion training too). Shout out if you are.

Am I missing something? Is this an ingame puzzle... or maybe just a bug.

You might not believe me, but that was one of the first things I tried. :) I searched around the room and just about every other room in the guild. I also checked the shops there in case you had to buy a broom (which would be cruel).

I did an assist in game and the host thought that the broom should be with the pan as well. No GMs were around to help find it.

She suggested I ask you guys (Sorcerer Forum)... so let me know if anyone knows anything else. And said that I might post it in the help/bug forums. So I'm going to track that down and post there too.

Agreed. I remember the same thing. If someone removes themself from the area in an unusual fashion, the mechanics can be borked. I believe this issue has also cropped up for the square guilds as well.
