Hello I've just joined the Sorcerer's Guild I've been assigned to have a fellow guild member teach me illusions, I'm currently rank 1. I asked around and over the net but couldn't locate anyone willing. I'm in landing or solhaven if anyone is able to meet up sometime.
Also for the second rank in Alchemy I've been assigned to visit the cauldron workshop and practice making solutions with my boil ability. My question is am I suppose to put tkaro root and water in here and boil them inside the cauldron since I believe that is the only one I've learned so far, or can I use any of the rank 1 formulas from Krakiipedia? Is there a verb to tell me what formulas I've learned?
Sorry if any of these questions are common sense or well known, It seems hard to find information on the guild other than Krakiipedia.

There are quite a few guild masters in Icemule. I am on in the evenings usually 9p-12amish and inconsistently on weekends.

yes, you have to make stuff in the cauldron. You must use the guild practice cauldron (it permanently exists in the room), not the one your character purchased. If you fail a boil/simmer/infuse/channel, you must try that step again until it is successful. I recommend highlighting failure messages in red. You can make any recipe for which you have the ranks for.
>Is there a verb to tell me what formulas I've learned?
no, but you can buy recipe tomes to record what you're made. After successfully making a new item, take your tome out and WRITE TOME to record the recipe.
Krakiipedia has the best organization of the recipes, but Virilneus' site is also very helpful, especially for foraging.

You can use any existing recipe regardless of whether or not a master had taught it to you. The only limitations are your rank in general alchemy versus the required rank of the recipe (it's listed in Krakii), and obviously whether or not you can obtain the materials required. Another excellent information source for alchemy exists on Virilneus' site: www.virilneus.com -- I use both sites for alchemy work.
