The magical workshops in most Sorcerer guilds (all except Zul Logoth and Ta'Vaalor) are now functioning as magical workshops such that they now will provide bonuses to appropriate spells, such as Scroll Infusion (714).

>>Good add, team! One more standing ask closed and in good fashion. :) Quick question -- Zul and TV left out intentionally (because of nasty sorc feelings) or in process but delayed due to challenges?
None of the existing rooms were obvious candidates for magical workshops like the other guilds had. The town gurus have been notified and they may add a room to their guilds in the future.

THANKS!
Will these workshops be equal in power to public workshops, CHE/guild workshops, or private workshops?
Will infusing in these workshops (assuming they weren't workshops before so wouldn't have accumulated any mana) have any effect on scroll infusion (714) or magical item creation (420)?

They're in the guild, so guild workshops.

Mana pools haven't mattered in forever.

<< (all except Zul Logoth and Ta'Vaalor) >>
In the guild halls of most towns, the summoning chamber is a node. I'm not sure if that's the case in Zul Logoth and Ta'Vaalor. If I were the guru for Zul Logoth or Ta'Vaalor, I would consider whether the summoning chamber would be appropriate for a magical workshop.

Umm, was this done in Plat? Because I apparently can't seem to find any spot in the Plat Landing Guild (haven't checked other town guilds yet) that responds correctly to sense

Yes. Were you looking at the alchemy workshops? Those are intentionally not magical workshops, even though the word "workshop" is in the description. Here's the correct one in the Landing (of Plat):
[Sorcerer Guild, Magic Workroom]
This austere room is amazingly clean. Not a speck of dust appears anywhere in it. In fact, the only items in the room are securely bolted, tacked or nailed down. An iron table and a large chest in the far corner both lean toward the center of the room, and what is left of the crimson carpet appears to have been shredded in the same direction, revealing the marble floor underneath. Light filters in from a few holes in the black marble walls to glint off a twisted metal sign.
Obvious exits: north, south
>sense
You study your surroundings and use your keen knowledge of the arcane. It quickly becomes evident that this room is a magical workshop .
You attempt to discern any aspects of this room that could affect your ability to pierce the veil in any summoning exploits. Nothing stands out to you.
