There's a shop that sells the wooden jewelry, and the crystals. I'm not there at the moment, but in essence, the crystals bought from the shop do not fit in the ring that I bought there.

Which begs two questions:

1) Is that intended?

2) What crystals go inside the ring?

I believe crystal holders have an analyze that gives usage info. GMs are getting really good these days about including instructions in the analyze info.

Yes I would like to thank any and all GM's who have done this and will do this, and save me from searching years of posts to find what verbs work with what items.

The crystal holding jewelry will accept any magical item with the noun of "crystal" if the following conditions are true:

1. It is not scripted. We don't want to bust someone's fancy crystal or something, and script conflicts can be annoying.
2. It is a magical item, activated via the RUB verb.
3. Its noun is "crystal".

The unlocked versions offer special messaging (when activated) for crystals made via Alchemy, along with blue, white, or black crystals. There is no other compatibility for GameMasters to set up in the future, they're pretty robust.
