Spice shakers on 07/07/2012 04:15 PM CDT
I'm assuming its too late, but i'll inquire anyhow. I noticed there were some 'spices' for sale and wondered if there was (or could be) a shaker that essentially worked like a wand to wave at food and cast purify (1604). I feel its relevant to the festival as we are dealing with food and that spell has a component to make food fresh. With all the lovely delicacies that cast spells when eaten but begin to spoil after the first bite, it would be a nice addition for this or future food events to have.
In summary, may we have salt shaker with x number of charges of 1604 to wave at food.
PS, I noted in the Doubly Dark wagon that the scorpion I bought to eat was sold already spoiled. Not sure if that was a one time thing or what.

I think I saw this in Cupboard Cures. There were salt, pepper, and spice shakers that each did their own thing. If memory serves, the spice shaker was for spoiled so I assumed that meant spoiled food.

>get wine
A sales clerk steps over to you and says, "Ah, a fine choice sir. The spiced blood wine sells for 300 silvers. You can BUY the spiced blood wine if you like."
>buy wine
A sales clerk accepts your silvers.
A sales clerk makes a quick trip to a back storage area and returns with a glass of spiced blood wine. Handing it to you carefully, a sales clerk says, "Here's your wine. Hope you enjoy it."
>drink my wine
You take a drink from your spiced blood wine.
It tastes stale.
That was the last of it!

Silvery tendrils rise up and wreathe their way around your spiced blood wine. As they continue to swirl, you notice some of the wine's blemishes completely disappear.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

Seems that more than a few of the tasties in Doubly Dark aren't too fresh...
