<<You can now use location magic to view other players within the same portion of the Confluence as yourself, and the Confluence now has a special "out-of-realm" vision in Locate Person (116) to better allow pin-pointing where exactly someone is. --Coase
I am having a bit of an issue with locating and Confluence areas. My cleric has the required summoning lore ranks to view adjacent realms with 116. So, today when I went to rescue someone, I located them from the Landing and got a vision they were in the Confluence. I assumed since I was in the Landing, and with the recent update, they would be as well. I went check the Landing confluence and the body wasn't there. Eventually, I found the person, but it turns out they were in the Icemule confluence. At no point did I get the "out-of-realm" vision, it always looked the same as any other normal locate.
So I guess my question is, what exactly is this special "out-of-realm" vision we're supposed to see that will help us pin-point where people are? Is it working as intended?
You gesture while calling upon the lesser spirits to aid you with the Locate Person spell...
Your spell is ready.
>You gesture into the air.
Your vision begins to become murky and clouded. You have a sensation of rapidly passing distance. Eventually your sight begins to clear and a vision of Soandso's surroundings fills your mind...
[Elemental Confluence]
You notice a huge lightning elemental and an expressive luck spirit (flying).
Also here: the body of Soandso (prone)
Obvious paths: north
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

<<It looks like Locate Person (116) was giving "realm visions" based on the caster's location, rather than the target's location. I've now updated the spell to give the realm vision based on the target's location. It should be working as of this post. --Coase
Can you take another look, please? Same situation again today, I was in the Landing and the body I needed to rescue was in the Icemule Confluence. I located, and the spell gave no relevant 'out-of-realm' information to indicate which confluence I should go to.

It should be working fully now. :)
>Seems like there is a bug with attune sense not revealing the room location when there are two instabilities in the same area.
If the instability is in a room that you can't locate into (via Locate Person or other similiar spells), you won't be able to get the remote vision, just the area. Thurfel's island has several spots where location magic is suppressed.
>Would definitely appreciate if Planar Shift worked within the Confluence.
I believe I have fixed the issue where Planar Shift was still being blocked outright.
>It looks like the instability is in the old room from before the AI got renovated. It's inaccessible.
This should be fixed now.

Thanks Coase.
I'd also like to say that after hunting there for a bit more, I've changed my mind about the loot. I think the gem-only system is a good one.

Speaking to you, Ceyrin asks, "Do you spontaneously come back to life when you die?"
Speaking to you, Ceyrin says, "Because I do."
You say, "Yes. I have a condition called Annoraxia.""
