I continue to be overwhelmed by the time and passion our GMs poor into our little community. This was my first Ebon Gate and I really had the time of my life. It seems like there is excessive complaining on the boards, as I'm sure there is every year, and I just want to let you know that we appreciate the GMs and all that you do for us. The merchant sessions were plentiful, and the GM roleplay was delightful. I hope you all get some well-deserved rest now!
Thank you also to my buddies who helped make the festival so much fun, and thank you to my husband for feigning interest over the things I've been excited about for the past two weeks.

I think one of my favorite things about EG, and merchant based events in general, is that it seems to be one of the better opportunities to interact with a broad range of GMs in various personas.
You really don't seem get the same kind of silly fun interactions with storylines or one off merchant visits.
Maybe its the festive event atmosphere that contributes to this but this is definitely one of the things that brings me back to EG year over year.
