I'm sad to say that the boards have made very depressing reading for me lately. There have been a slew of complaint posts over the last couple of months about everything from Delirium Manor, Duskruin, the Lumnis Contest, pretty much everything wizard-related, and even the up-coming auction. I think perhaps it's time we all paused for a moment to remember that a bunch of talented GMs went out of their way to come up with all of it for our benefit and all we seem to do is moan. There are living, breathing people behind those GameMaster titles who have feelings and I'm pretty sure that they are all totally fed up with us by now. Sure, there will always be things that we want but what we don't want are a group of disenfranchised GMs who step away, or even quit, because of our constant negativity and lack of appreciation.
Consider this my thank you to all behind the scenes for everything you do. I'm pretty happy with the state of Elanthia right now - my feedback gripes aside - and think that all-in-all we have a pretty damn good bunch of GMs with some amazing creativity and skill. Stay positive guys!

Well said! I really do appreciate all the hard work on the part of the GMs. There has been a lot of development and a lot of events happening lately, and these are all good things for our little community. The ultimate goal of this game is to have fun - and I do continue to have fun after all these years. Thank you for keeping this game alive.

You're right, and it also makes me think about all the things that go on that I don't mention. I should mention them because they play a major role in why I come back month after month.
Goblyn spent hours roleplaying with folks the night before and the night of Silvergate's Winter Gala. She didn't have to do that, but what a delight that she did! Haliste saw that people wanted a way to bundle or pour the Simucoin prizes found in Duskruin Dig boxes, so she made it happen, and there was much rejoicing. Reim is already incredible, and Retser just keeps making it more so. The curtains closed on Kenstrom's Eyes of the Dawn, but we all know he's coming up with something new that will cause us to BUY DEEDS again soon, and it's a monumental contribution to the game. Xerria has done a consistently terrific job of making Premium subscribers enjoy their extra perks, particularly when she gets mobbed at Xerria unlockings and still manages to get to everyone.
I appreciate the experience changes, the Sanctum of Scales, the newly open story arcs that span multiple towns, and all the effort that went into an outstanding Ebon Gate this year. I appreciate minor quality of life fixes I don't even know about until I notice them six months after they're implemented.
My continued subscription is a tangible thank you, but it's also good to say it in words, too: Thanks for making me look forward to signing on. :)
