I understand why Clerics can display their chosen deity in their titles, but why can't any other profession do the same thing?

You gotta walk the walk, and talk the talk, if you want the title!
That said, I suppose anyone that wants to train 40 ranks in religion lore that isn't a cleric or paladin probably is doing something along those lines.

Bazzelwyn says, "The answer is maul."

The thing about the present system I'd like to see is more the part where clerics or paladins could apply the deity title to things that aren't specifically on the professional list.
You might think a post-name title like "Zealot of Voln" would be a pretty reasonable one, but it's a paladin skill-based title and thus cannot be used under this system.
I kind of understand why there's some limitation, since I'm not really clear about a cleric using something like "Locksmith of Lorminstra" (even if her symbol is a key), but some of the skill-based ones are particularly nice to pair with the deity ones.
Once I get my paladin a lot more religion ranks, I suppose I'd want to use "Vanquisher of Voln" as the best option...

A bit dated on here, but if the spiritual skills related titles could also be used with 'of Arkati', that'd be great.
