Found in an OTF box. 2x, some amount of crit padding (info from AI crystal near Landing, can't rope up a bard or warrior at the moment). Landing pawn shop said it was worth a bit over 477K.

First time (I think) that I have found padded armor in a box.

If I had to guess from the Pawnshop appraisal alone I'd say it's fair or swcp.

Turns out it has perm frost resistance, and temp exceptional crit padding.

How long do these temporary things tend to last? If I get used to exceptional crit padding, it's going to be tough to go back.

Temporary padding can last awhile (or not) depending on how many "charges" it has, and how often you are struck in combat.

I got temp padding at an event once. It lasted like 1.5 years. I hunt a lot but don't get struck often.

Yeah temp stuff can give funny pawn prices.

As the previous people said it all depends on how many hits you take as you loose a charge each time. I've had a similar set going on 4-5 years now that is still good, but everyone will get a different life span out of such things.
