Eni heaved a sigh of relief as he stared up at the ceiling of the ship. What did the captain say it was called? Zombie something? He chuckled, feeling a little giddy with relief.
They had gathered the supplies, worked hard, and with the aid of many adventurers had built 51 longboats. They'd gotten everyone willing off the island and out into the sea. Where that took them now was anyone's guess, but he had to believe that the people would be safe. They had some of their best men and women out on those seas right now. They would survive and that was all they could ask for.
He felt a bit of relief as he drifted off in the cabin, his thoughts traveling to Omiko. She had a solid plan and she was right to split the crews to make both a pier and longboats. Her gambit had paid off in the end.
Glancing out the porthole, he watched the dark skies recede. They were on their way to River's Rest and from there, they would start gathering their people.
Thank you everyone for taking part in the quest and storyline A Tale of Survival. We never anticipated that you would build more than 20 boats, never mind 51.
Big Thanks go to GM Isten and GM Estild for getting this QC'd.
The Wise Woman Omiko has been played by the lovely Elysani for the past two years and she has done an amazing job of it.
We hope that you enjoyed this Tale out of Caligos Isle.

Um.... hello... this is the GS player base, I don't believe we've met. We've all been playing what may very well be the grindiest(TM) game in the world for decades, if anything we're ashamed it was so low.
Starchitin, the OG
A severed gnomish hand crawls in on its fingertips and makes a rude gesture before quickly decaying and rotting into dust. A gust of wind quickly scatters the dust.

This was a lovely ending for a many years-long quest to save people from the mists. It was very cool to see so much player agency in how exactly Omiko and Eni got off the island, I'm so glad I could be there to see the conclusion.
