I did not realize that the owner could never see the dragonfly when it was on him/her without a mirror. I tried a couple of things, but it's such a unique circumstance that doesn't normally happen with other items that I had to make adjustments.

When a dragonfly is on you, if you type GLANCE DRAGONFLY then you will see something like this:

You notice a black-tailed steel damselfly bedecked in iridescent sapphire wings that is clinging to the curve of your left ear.

The one thing that I couldn't change was when you were holding them. But GLANCE does show them in your hand.

Everyone else sees...

He has a black-tailed steel damselfly perched on his left forefinger.
