For my Knight Wear people! We present...

... more verbs, huzzah! (And for anyone who's seen The Great, yes, I totally smashed a glass while huzzahing ;) ).

Verb Set 3 is the new set -- RAISE, SPIN, FIDGET, and GRIN. This is an add-on tier rather than vertical tiering. Lil' bit of the new messaging is pasted at the bottom of this post.

For those not familiar with Knight Wear: these are an interactive set of items with a jousting-esque theme behind them. There are 6 different item types -- helm, spurs, surcoat, belt, gauntlets, and armor! There are 3 different flavors of messaging -- Lance (traditional), Gaston (confident, arrogant, or a bit of a peacock -- depending on your POV), and Monty (clumsy-ish)! The base items are all sold in The Knight Way, with a section of the shop dedicated to each flavor, and you can certainly mix and match which flavors you wear together.

Both Verb Set 2 and Verb Set 3 are available to add on to Knight Wear items via certificates in the north-most room of The Knight Way. Surcoat design variations are available in that same area from the seamstress. Spur embellishment variations are available in the Rumor Woods forge area.

As a reminder, aside from attaining base Knight Wear items from The Knight Way, the forge area of Rumor Woods still includes blacksmiths who can add Knight Wear helm/armor/gauntlet ability to your unscripted helm/armor/gauntlets. The blacksmiths require that the items are built a certain way in order to be eligible for this (for example, armor must be actual armor profiles; gauntlets need to be hand-worn items built as plain or UAC gloves that already have the noun "gauntlets", etc.) -- if you run into any items that they refuse to work on but don't giving a clear indication of why, you can BUG or ask here.

In addition to those offerings from the blacksmiths, you can also now add the Knight Wear spurs ability onto unscripted, pinworn items that already have the noun "spurs".

Massive thank yous to GMs Isten, Lanadriel, and Auchand for their QC work on all of these elements!

Happy jousting!

~Kaikala

I wish I could convey complex inner states in the 3rd person output of my custom scripts.

If they're worded to be realistically visible to 3rd parties (the laughing to oneself and lamenting here are both definitely intended as viewable/audible actions), you absolutely can ;)

Maybe I missed this, but where are the T3 unlocks? The original post says they are in the north most room, but I only see the T2 unlocks.

My KnightWear armor seems to have a variable for how it's fastened, with straps or buckles being options, and it's set to nothing. Is there an NPC that changes that embellishment? It's the only thing I haven't customized so far :-p
