So, I encountered an interesting scenario in Reim this morning.
My connection died whilst I was in a Pitfall Trap. On login, the knight returned to the fray - as expected - and nailed me with a neck crit. Seems the Reim death mechanics don't trigger in the pit so I resorted to 350 only to find I was literally trapped.
I was unable to cast 130 due to a head injury. Voln Symbol of Return just dissipated and the knight - whilst passive and not attacking - blocked my exit climb out, which I didn't think they were supposed to do anymore.
I had to wait for the "time's up" to get out.

The lack of herbs aside, my issue wasn't so much with not being able to cast, it was with the lack of Reim death mechanics in the pit in the first place. Yes, it would have been nice to use Spirit Guide to get out (assuming it would have worked had I not been injured, as Symbol of Return didn't). Something was definitely wonky though, as the knight did not resume his attack on me after I had used 350 yet he blocked my climb which I thought had been changed.
