I was wondering if it was intended that the critters in Reim be hit only by magical weapons. I have a 0x sanctified claid on my paladin thinking it would work there but come to find out the settlers of Reim just laughed at me when I swung it at them. Big price difference between 0x and 1x when it comes to claids.

Just as a tip, you might want to consider a different weapon since you're fighting non-corp critters that you can't crit kill, except for a couple of them at the end. You'd be better off with a battle axe or some other two hander that does a lot of raw HP damage. Or, a damage weighted or flaring weapon. A 0x claid is going to be like fighting with one hand tied behind your back. Unless that's your thing, I suggest giving another weapon a try.

Someone said the same thing to him last night on Lich, and he responded: I fight a lot of other things with the same weapon that are susceptible to crit damage. I guess the whole point of being a class that can use sanctified weapons, and having to be a claidhmore, is so that it can be a jack-of-all-trades weapon, and you don't have to carry multiple weapons around for multiple purposes. I think that's the way this guy is looking at it, anyway.

Probably never heard the old saw about, "If the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem starts to look like a nail."
Some times, there's a better tool for a given job... Sanctified [maybe high-Enchant, juicy flares or damage weighting, and so on] weapon over here, claidhmore over here....
