The Sunday afternoon run has been completed and I have to say that it was absolutely brilliant fun. It was totally different from the beta run, not so much in functionality but because the dynamics were different. Here are a few pieces of information based on observation - and common sense:

1. Determine your strategy with your group before you step foot off your schooner.
2. Be prepared to regroup and re-evaluate your strategy if your initial plan is not bearing fruit.
3. Assign a leader - that worked well in both my runs. Too many ships cooks will spoil the bilge water broth!
4. Take the advice already given about taking backpacks and leaving them on the schooner for additional storage
5. When nearing the end of the quest, pick up all your loot stored on the schooner as a matter of priority. Once escorted off the schooner and back to Wehnimers you have no way of retrieving that 10x full plate you left under the bench.. haha (if only)

Have fun.

Good advice, Bremerial.

Our Sunday morning run was very enjoyable, I shall definitely sign up to do it again soon.

The quest is nicely balanced allowing for exploration with waves of combat and the underlying stress of trying to complete the rescue mission in the allotted time. It was clear from the outset what the goal was and nice not to feel overwhelmed with trying to figure too many things out so it was possible to roleplay throughout. Our group was organised and pretty well balanced but unfortunately we didn't move into action quickly enough to finish it ... next time!

Haha. Well I'm going again. 10am next Sunday. (3pm my time). May even do the session after that. Let me know if you go again. Perhaps we can butt heads against the Krolvin together again!
