I'd also love to know more about this, even if it's just a general roadmap.

Just poking this, months later, to see if we can get any kind of general update? The silence is disquieting. Any amount of info that can be given would be appreciated. Thank you!

I went back to the ranger spell review document, since no updates on this spell, and re-read the implementation piece of it.

<<First, they must obtain a special potion by dropping off forageable plants corresponding to the desired damage resistance at the local NPC found in weathered shacks throughout the world. The Ranger may then CAST Resist Nature at the armor to receive a difficulty check, then POUR the potion on the armor to prepare it, and finally CHANNEL the spell at the armor to attempt to apply the resistance. The number of doses of the potion required is equal to the tier of the current attempt. The difficulty of the cast will parallel existing systems like Ensorcell and Enchant. If successful, the armor then gains a permanent 4% resistance to the chosen element, with a maximum of 20% resistance after 5 successful tiers. A failure will result in a loss of 10% of the points of Nature’s Grace required for the attempt.

As it currently sits the potions are single-dose from the herbalist and there wasn't a mention that I could see that would change it to multiple doses.

>>Using a larkspur potion on armor affected by Resist Nature will remove the most recent tier applied. The cost of brewing resistance potions will increase from 3000 to 250000 silver (the herbalist will be updated to accept notes), and the potions will no longer expire.

So with single-dose potions now going from 3,000 to 250,000...

T1 T2 T3 T4 T5 Total
1 pour 2 pours 3 pours 4 pours 5 pours
250,000 500,000 750,000 1,000,000 1,250,000 3,750,000

That's a total of 3,750,000 just for potions to be able to setup to do this. This seems like an awfully expensive setup, considering that 735 doesn't have this setup cost and neither does Grit, Tats, or the new Bard proposed Luck service, from the current documentation presented, which is also a semi class with what appears to be no cost associated with their service and taking up the same spell slot number. I'm curious if anyone in red has looked at this.

Anyone willing to comment on 620, in general would be great, or in regards to the price costs of potions?
