Is it expected that warriors keep training in Armor Use even after they're in full plate?
I rushed up to 150 ranks then put it on hold until getting 1x in Ambush. Now that I have ambush I'm kind of wanting to pick up a third weapon skill just to be able to assess more types of weapons, but I don't want to do it if I'll be hurting myself by not continuing to train in armor. TPs aren't even remotely an issue for this character.... other then PF and Ambushing all the combat skills she trains in are maxed out and she's not even half-way to her next level:
(at level 53), your current skill bonuses and ranks (including all modifiers) are:

I'd also be open to other options if there's something I'm not thinking about... she's in Voln, uses a morning star and tower shield, and is in voln full plate.

For me, armor past 150 was only a precap priority on my ewave casting warrior. Otherwise, post cap is the only time I found it worthwhile to spend those tps for the modest maneuver gains.
I would consider 1x Dodge before a third weapon style. It may not be required, but the extra ds is nice. Even with the shield penalty, I find it worth it at the 1x costs.

Better than rain or rippling brook,

You don't need that much ambush either. (You may or may not be at your open aim cap now, so I'm not saying get rid of it, but you'll go way past it if you stay at 1x ambush)
With that same build (star, tower, Voln, brawl) I stayed at 2x armor all the way to cap. Earlier overtraining could have improved some things, but I liked outskinning rangers too much to drop my heavy survival/FA training.
You could benefit from more MOC now for focussed mstrikes, and will probably want MIU if and when you go to the Rift (scrolls are fine for in town buffs, but not for repairing major dispels when there's no sanct to run to).
3x PF is not a bad thing to get either (it was an immediate post cap thing for me, but you aren't spending points on skinning)
What shield specialisations are you using? (Just curious, they didn't exist when I was that level)

<and +1 on the extra dodge recommendation too.>
I had actually considered this, but didn't think it would help since I use a tower shield... should prolly look into that a bit more.

Yer.... that would help sept I never have outside spells on any of my characters unless I'm helping defend the Rest during an invasion. The AS ranks are pretty much exclusively to see what's on scrolls I find and to toss up some spells from the few scrolls I have during invasions.
<3x PF is not a bad thing to get either (it was an immediate post cap thing for me, but you aren't spending points on skinning)>
I've thought of this too, but hadn't really given it serious consideration since I'm in plate... guess one can never have enough maneuver defense though...
<What shield specialisations are you using? (Just curious, they didn't exist when I was that level)>
your Shield Specialization training is as follows:
Skill name Mnemonic Ranks
Tower Shield Focus tfocus 5
Shield Bash bash 5
Shield Charge charge 2
Shield Spike Focus spikefocus 2
Block the Elements eblock 2
Disarming Presence dpresence 3
Shield Trample trample 3
Available Shield Training Points: 3
I never use Trample or Charge.... partly cause I forget I have them, but mostly cause Bash does the job against everything I've been up against so far with a lower RT. I might actually burn a fixskill to untrain one or both to get the last rank in Block the Elements when I move to the Citadel. Dpresence doesn't go off often enough that I ever count on it to disarm a foe (since I have to actually block the attack for it to trigger), but it's saved me enough grief since I got it that it's my go-to martial stance unless I'm hunting somewhere critters just don't carry weapons (I even have a short script to pick up their weapon and drop it in my disk when it triggers).

If you are hunting explicitly self spelled, a few spell ranks might also be a good use of points. 101 and 401 alone are a nice boost. 103, 107, 406 even more.

I don't think you'll notice the dodge much yet, but if you don't have any before cap sometime in the 70s or 80s you'll start thinking that you are taking bigger crits than plate plus redux ought to. If you aimed to get to 0.5x at cap, whether by 1 rank/level from now, or 2 ranks/level from 75, I'd expect you to take rather fewer major crits than if you had none.
>I never use Trample or Charge.... partly cause I forget I have them, but mostly cause Bash does the job against everything I've been up against so far with a lower RT.
It doesn't stay like this, at high enough level pretty much everything either knows bash or is immune to it.

This. Its another 10 or so levels to the point where I first found unspelled TD iffy, but you'll get to a point where it happens sooner or later.

Much as I hate the idea of casting as a warrior, I decided to go ahead and get 101 and 401. Necromancers will still be able to hit me with their spells even once I have them (along with apprentices and heralds once I get to them, I suspect), but at least that will require a higher endroll for them to end a hunt.
Was going to get Dodge ranks, but I just couldn't get past CS attacks being a bigger danger then any physical attack I face... so might as well mitigate that danger a bit. With both the ranks and the spells themselves aiding TD, it's enough for me to get over my disgust at casting as a warrior. I should be able to get those and a rank in HP by 56 (max mana of 1 won't go far even with those spells), at which point I'll start grabbing Dodge ranks.
