Hello I am just coming back after a bit of a lay off and am looking into trying out the UAC style and wanted to try a warrior. It seems some of the skills don't match up with the punch jab kick grapple style of fighting but it still seems workable. however I am also looking at using fist weapons if needed to make the build work maybe TWC with fist weapons. any help with a build to make this work would be appreciated.

I am not a UAC expert but I'll throw a few comments out there for consideration.

- It has been stated a number of times that UAC is generally designed to be used as unarmed (weaponless) combat. Unless you have super uber brawling weapons of doom, you will likely be better off not using weapons (but UAC brawling gloves and UAC footwear would be fine).

- Following the monk design you will probably want a lot of dodge for your defense - I would think at least 2x training at a minimum. I'll admit that I'm not sure how shields interact with UAC but intuitively this seems like a bad idea (I would read up to confirm if you are interesting in this route).

- While not all of them do, I believe there are still a number of Warrior CMANs that do play nicely with UAC. What types of CMANs are you looking at, specifically?

- Most people seem to favor rogue or an actual monk for UAC. One reason is likely due to both of those professions having a lot of synergy with UAC. While a UAC warrior does not seem to be as common, it doesn't mean that it can't or shouldn't be done.

One very important point to note: BERSERK does not currently utilize UAC. This means one of the greater benefits of your profession as a warrior is severely curtailed in use. Some people don't berserk at all, even with weapons. I dont understand it, but thats how they do.

So just keep that in mind.

Yeah, I knew berserk wouldn't work with UAC that is why I was thinking of using fist weapons, I could still have the option of using either it would just be a bit more costly in TPs by putting more into TWC than the usual .5

I use a shield and kick as my main UAC attack. I think you are better off with standard melee than UAC as a warrior, (I normally use blunts but have UAC trained as well for an option) but you can kick stuff if you want to. I'd stay away from the slow races, you really need the AGIDEX as well as MOC to get a decent mstrike from UAC.

<<What's the min RT possible with UAC monk? 1 sec?>>

Monks have no inherent ability to attack faster than anyone else. 2 second jab, 3 punch / grapple, 4 kick (+1 to the minimum for each if aimed)

You can use QUICKSTRIKEs to do those, and monks can arguably do those more often with the stamina reduction from 1213, but same base RT and rules as every other class.
