We await your return in hiding. You have brought great honor and wealth to Glaoveln.

The gnomes Hauptwhistle and Fiddlestix brought people together at the Moot Hall to auction off their metallic manticore, the Ravager. Although it appeared that the krolvin of Glaoveln, led by the nefarious Kyjani, were going to win the auction legitimately, a last-minute alliance among representatives of River's Rest, Ta'Vaalor, and Icemule Trace brought together enough funds to defeat them. This started a scuffle between the krolvin Kruj and the gnome Hauptwhistle. The krolvin retreated afterward, but with a sample of Hauptwhistle's blood, which Kyjani used with some blood magic to gain access to the manticore. Piloted by its new krolvin mistress, the beast attacked before being driven off, at the cost of many adventurers' lives.
The World Team is pleased to present this month's ongoing storyline, Flight of the Manticore. The tale of this mysterious creature could lead anywhere, from the shaded closes of River's Rest to the rough-and-tumble streets of Wehnimer's Landing. The World Team is trying something new in that this story will be built around scheduled events. Manticore-related affairs may occur at any time, but there are a few guaranteed dates where you can get involved in the main events. We'll announce the location for these happenings as the quest continues.

Kudos on this. These ongoing events are exactly what I crave from GS. It's an ongoing storyline that gives me a sense of things happening in the world, with write ups on the forums that make it easy to follow.
I rarely participate in events, but I really value knowing they're happening and being able to follow them on the forums. Thank you!
