Greetings from Ta'Vaalor!
Festival of the Fallen will return once again this fall. With that being said, now is the time to toss out what you loved/hated about this event. All ideas, suggestions, and requests are welcome whether it be items, services, or the arena combat.
I have noted the comment about spell levels and paladins.
DISCLAIMER: There is no guarantee or promise that any of these suggestions will actually appear at the Festival.

I recall the raffles last time being an excellent mix of fluff (spectacles, wine press, sig verbs) and mechanical. I'd like to see that carry through again.
Also, will the shops be updated? Particularly A Formal Affair and The Lady's Tears? I LOVED the inventory in those last time and would like to see similar stuff (but different designs!) if possible.

I'd love morphing armor to return, as well as moods, banes(runestaff banes please - and because they've never been offered yet since the announcement that they are a thing, having a seperate raffle/spin for just runestaves/pures would be appreciated), enchanting, and custom verbs. Custom perfume would be nice. Custom glamour tattoos are on my permanent Ask For List until they happen.
Voln armor unlocking/adding.. I especially appreciated the method of release for Voln armors at the last FoF. Tiered offerings for both everyone and Voln members/masters. It was one of the best distribution methods that I can recall.

Although it is surely to late for this run, and maybe it is too much work in general... but I would love to see a system like the old EG jousting event. One that factors in stats and skills as a bonus and also has a fairly robust rock/paper/Scissors and luck portions.
I found that system to be vastly more interesting than gs style pvp. Picking a move and watching the round play out was more fun than a game of see who is the most post cap or what proffered has the ability most broken against players, since they are not generally considered when coded.

I'm hoping for a return of the tent with the clothes that have 2 sides, one that hangs on the rack, one that fits you a certain way. With new ones. They are awesome!
SO many shops there were amazing, as well as the merchants to alter them. I had gifts made, I bought extras to alter later, and I had so much fun, even though I really had no idea what I was doing!
I saw the first person insult a merchant badly ... and she picked up her thread and walked away. That was embarrassing to see happen and rather amazing, too. Rarely do people get out of line with merchants in GS.
Have you considered making special Arkati-specific tokens for fallen heroes? Maybe chrism holders, maybe just something worn?
Perhaps traditional favors a Lady gives the hero of her choice, too.
Did you set up wagering on the arena fights?

That may be the case, however nothing has been posted here with dates and I'm leery of emails as those tend to be tentative and are subject to change. Until I get a confirmation from the person who is running this event, I am not going to rely on your screenshot of an email.
When it gets posted here with actual confirmed dates, I will know what I can plan.
