If you purchased a deep blue lor runestaff capped by a red dreamstone at the auction, you will need to ASSIST and request a REFERRAL to have the acuity flares corrected. While you should use BUGITEM when a scripted item is the culprit, this is an issue with the item build, so the physical item needs to be fixed in this case. Please reference this post.
