I've just released three changes to casting penalties:

Nerve damage will hinder casting much more than before. Previously they had a near-negligible impact, even when entirety destroyed.

Knowledge of the "Injured Casting" feat will reduce the nerve damage penalty to previous levels. Previously it removed the penalty entirely.

Concentration penalties were slashed in half. Previously penalties could reach the point where casting was entirely impossible, which was vastly out of line with penalties from other sources.

Thanks go to Grejuva for the QC.

This is live in Prime/Plat and will migrate to TF in a few days if nothing goes sour.

I discovered that 'Mind' SvS attacks were suffering a penalty from nerve damage on top of the penalty that already exists for casting any spell. This was notably out of line with any other form of SvS attack and so the penalty has been removed.
