I know this isn't likely to happen for mechanical reasons- but what would you say to cambrinths that can be linked together like a chain so the cambrinths can grow with you instead of being worn all over and maybe even not wearable?

Extending on that, what about a feat or spell that lets you prepare one spell while miming the patterns of another? It would be another random spell that you know. It's kind of an arms race at this point, so I'm not sure it would be worth coding; however, it would be funny to watch in a PVP match.

If I understand it correctly, the suggestion is to be able to turn "charge manacle... charge armband... charge bracer... charge belt..." into "charge cambrinth" with invoke working similarly? I would really love this. Sounds like an arcana skill milestone, maybe with a feat. To expand on it a little, it would be awesome if you could "perceive cambrinth" to see how much mana you have in all your worn camb pieces.
I generally love functional skill milestones and sometimes wish there were more of 'em, like the OP's suggestion. It's a special kind of fun when you can suddenly throw a fifth throwing blade with one throw or precisely perceive mana in adjacent rooms or see your armor hindrance drop a level on an appraisal, etc.

No, it was for new type of cambrinth item that you could attach together to make your own custom size cambrinth. E.g a necklace that you could add beads to where each bead holds only 4 cambrinth, but if you had 10 beads on it the necklace would hold 40 mana and if you added an 11th it would hold 44 instead and so on.

I think he means technically possible as in the lore supports it. I dunno, I can imagine cambrinth could have deleterious effects if it enters the body.

The Y'shai example suggests that having that much energy literally in your physical body all the time is unhealthy, but I'm not sure how much of that is the cambrinth and how much of that is all the other stuff Moon Mages do to the poor dudes.

I mean technically possible as in the game supports it, or at least a portion of it. For example, I can wear an item that makes it look like I have a net on my skin. I can also wear a ring that changes my eye color. So it seams feasible that you could wear cambrinth beads of doom that insert themselves into your skin (features/wear/remove text). You'd charge the beads, and I'd guess it could have a special atmo messaging. Maybe, maybe not.
Something like...
Wear: Tank concentration/mana (flavor) .
1) Beads: You press the beads to your forearm and close your eyes. They slowly bury deep inside forming the shape of an <animal>
2) Paint: Dipping your finger in the paint, you trace a intricate mosaic across your body. It shimmers briefly before turning into a solid cambrinth outline.
Look person:
You see name, race.
Name has some features
1) Name has [glowing/dull] [red/silver] lines traces across his body
2) Name has
He is some height for race.
He appears to be an age
Remove: Tank Concentration/mana (flavor).
1) Beads: You place your hand over the beads. They react to your call and quickly leave your body, leaving no trace that they were ever there.
2) Paint: You pick at one of the edges and pull the cambrinth from your body. As you do, the solid form transforms into a silvery flecks that flutter into the breeze.
Inv:
1) You're wearing some cambrinth beads (forearm slot, they hide themselves from your inventory description but not your features)
2) You're wearing some paint (same as above, general slot).
Charge:
*) You close your eyes and the [paint/beads] glow with a crimson/silver light.
Dischrage:
*) The beads/paint emits a loud snap. The beads/paint returns to a dull color.
While we're on the topic, it seems like you could repaint a guards ring (https://elanthipedia.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Item:Gleaming_platinum_grey_raven_guard%27s_ring) to create a permanent moon blade. You could even add a token 1% mana or spirit drain that infrequently pulsed to add to the flavor.
