Okay I have just recently bought a horse and I am having some problems with it and I am curious if its just my newness to the system or the system itself.
Upon getting booted from the game and promptly returning, my horse is gone and presumably taken to the stable....this I understand is part of the horse system. However, when I return the game some hours later I find my horse standing in the room which I had originally been booted from. This is odd considering I had gone to the stable and they said the had my horse and would return it to me for 1000 lirums (which I did not pay because I was going to be logging soon anyways)
This happened twice in two different rooms...thanks to my room mate futzing with the cable router...sigh I was just wodering if any one else has this same problem?
if you wait 5-10 minutes after you log into the room where you and your left...and it doesn't come back you'll prolly have to have the stableboys retrieve it...
As for the stablehands saying they have your horse, I think what they actually say is that they will go find and fetch your horse for 1 gold...not that they're holding your horse. =)
So that is prolly what happened....when you went to the stables to ask them about your horse, your horse showed up where you left it. But you didn't see it til the next time you logged back in and went to that spot. =)

The recommended time you wait for your horse if you log out suddenly is up to 30 minutes, before you go to the Stable to have the stablehands go gather it. You need to wait in the same room that you left in.
The problem is that if you have the stablehands gather your horse, any tack on it can be lost. Which is something I and I'm sure all other horse owners would like to see changed.
I've had to do wait for my horse due to unexpected disconnects only twice and it did only take 5-10 minutes each time. But it can take up to 30 minutes.
