Hey folks,
I sure a hope a gm reads this and at least replies with somethin like we will look into it, cause it is the 8th time I have asked about it over the years since horse came into being.
Why can a horse not travel the road into vines and creepers? A trader can bring an entire caravan down that road without breaking a sweat, yet I can't get my single horse in there at all, it isn't a mountain, nor a waterway, it is simply a road, albeit a long one. No, I don't want the rt reduced, I just want to be able to take my horse in without having to ask a moon mage for a gate (poor buggers are tryin right now to figure out how to open a permanent "darthor's horse gate" so I'll leave them alone), and bring it back out without having to go to the stable and pay 850 coppers to have it returned (minus the halter I paid a gold for every time I get it returned to me in this fashion).
Heck, this is a great oppurtunity to create a little something special in a much used hunting area, why not put an inn with a stable at the vines end of the road, complete with a bar or what have you, it could be run by the "gypsies" or maybe just an old retired guard from theren. It would make for a nice spot for the empaths, traders, and hunters, as well as create a stable for anyone wanting to have their horse with them in this area. it is especially a good spot for paladins and their horses, as this is one of the better places to train multi armor and things like that. Not to mention that most paladins hunting in this spot are of the age to own a horse and be able to use it. I'll even write the description for the place if you want, so all you have to do is the easy part (code it....heeeheeeheee).
So, what do you say, either open the road, or make a stable we can import and deport our horses to and from pretty please with sugar and spices ontop.

Because the "horse system" was put together shoddily then abandoned. I'm sure the new GM in charge of it will be fixing these things.

Actually, it was announced at the Simucon in June. GM in charge of horse system is Ceiswynn (sp?)
