Had a youngin give me a bloodlock he found, it seems to be attuned to someone already, any chance to retune these?

If it's already been tuned to someone, there's not currently a way to retune them to anyone.

No, but it's not completely necessary. A bloodlock can only be opened by a key that is from a bloodlock attuned to the same person as that bloodlock. So if one person attunes 2 bloodlocks, their keys are now interchangable.
If that youngin' can find the key that went with it, you're golden.

True, but...can't put the bloodlock on a spellbook, because it's tuned to someone else. (Tried it before, we couldn't get it to work. Unless that's something else that's been changed!) So the lock can't be used, anyway, far as I know.

the key was with it but it seems from what ya all say I cannot use it.
I never even attempted to put in on my spellbook because i was concerned i would never get it open again. heh
Just curious about it all. Thanks for all the replys.
My guess is someone sold thier spellbook and removed the lock so the new owner could get in and out of it.
Oh and if someone has 'Lost' a bloodlock, look me up, it might be yers.

You're probably right.
As a side note, if the bloodlock is already on a someone's spellbook, and they sell you that spellbook with the correct bloodlock key...you can lock and unlock it. You just can't remove the bloodlock from the spellbook to replace it with another kind.
