There is an upcoming change to underwater swimming and one to swimming in general.

Currently people can hold their breath for amazing lenths of time (30 minutes to 90+ minutes). This will be greatly reduced to the "a few" or several minute level. This is being done now when there are relatively few underwater areas in the game. But there are a very few, so be very careful if you are accustomed to spending a great deal of time underwater.

The other change is more positive and I will let you all find it yourself.
