Let's get away from the arguing of empathic skills since that isn't the type of information we're looking for here and that topic is much better suited for the empath folders. We do want to know whether you prefer an AREA for pc empaths over npc empaths in future arenas. Ideally there would be areas for both but I see that more in the larger olympic sized arenas such as the SCC one. We'd like to offer you some variety so we're looking at arenas of varying sizes and options to suit everyone's needs.

For discussion purposes let's start off with a small arena, perhaps one that would hold a 2 team competition similar to what you hold on your own in the cemetary. What system options would you most like to see in one of this size? How many rooms would ideally suit your needs in a scaled down arena? If your only given 1 choice is it pc empath/cleric or npc empath/cleric? Do you envision a small arena using stock weapons or your own? Npc referees or police it yourselves?

We'll branch off into discussions of one on one arenas (such as a prize fighter's ring) to mid size to olympic sized with all the bells and whistles as we go along but this seems a good place to start.

One with some versatility for selecting and enforcing the rules. For instance, if invisibility is not allowed in the current competition, an individual will not be able to go invisible. I'm not sure how restricting area spells would work, short of allowing each spell to be specified, since some area spells are generally allowed, like Darkness.

Personally, I think 5 would be cool, but most people seem fond of 3.

NPC.

> Do you envision a small arena using stock weapons or your own?

Stock weapons available, not required.

> Npc referees or police it yourselves?

NPC referees, with the option of disabling them at the start.
