ReplyGrappling a single critter that I can dance all day with 4 on me without getting hit.And it constantly ripps me to shreds when grappling.Was using shield for defense.Do parry sticks or any other brawling weapons happen to help proterct ya more in this mode.The critter was a single blood wolf verses dem stats on this little fella.
Shield Usage: 125 13% focused (20/34) Leather Armor: 115 75%
Heavy Chain: 101 61% dabbling (1/34) Multi Opponent: 120 37%
Brawling: 84 39% perusing (2/34) Evasion: 117 55%
Grappling and tackling are a couple of the brawling moves that will tank your defenses. The one your grappling with should have its defenses tanked as well, but you shouldn't waste any time. Circle to get them off balance and give them a shove quick. If they attack while you are grappled, you're nore than likely gonna get hit and get hit hard.

Grappling is only good for one thing: the time Madigan(I think?) grappled with some guy who was popping off at the mouth about Paladins being sissies who can't even attack unless they get attacked first because they take such a big soul hit and other crap and just generally bad mouthing everything about Paladins, so he grappled with him and held him down for like an hour lecturing him.
I was in the room listening to a class and it was hilarious.

Also, grapple is broken. So is tackle, shove and possibly all non-damaging brawling maneuvers. If you outclass your opponent too much then you will auto-fail with these maneuvers.

There's a bug/mech abuse with Harmony, and maybe berserks, where if you grapple someone and can pull them to the ground by falling, when the enchante pulls you to your feet your opponent remains prone while still grappled. They have tanked balance and the Bard full thanks to the enchante. Its either impossible or requires a very large skill difference for them to be able to get away at that point unless they have their own hax.
