After I test this halberd for a bit I will be selling them through Prescious.

Scrimmshaw hefts the halberd and puts it on the medium balance scale. He patiently adds small sacks of stones on the other side till the beam becomes exactly level.

Scrimmshaw squints at the balance beam needle and says, "The halberd weighs about thirty-seven stones," and puts the halberd on the counter.

You pay Scrimmshaw and take your halberd off the counter.

>app hal

A halberd is a halberd pole-ranged weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
heavy puncture damage
heavy slice damage
poor impact damage

You are certain that the halberd is fairly balanced and is fairly suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You are certain that the halberd is of average strength, and is in pristine condition.

The halberd is made with metal.
The halberd feels pretty light.
You are certain that the halberd is worth exactly 450 lirums.
Roundtime: 8 seconds.

Don't sell any to Calemnon. How am I ever going to beat him in a joust if he keeps training! ;D

That said other than the weight reduction how does this new breed compare to your 43 stoners? And thanks for pushing the boundaries of halberd weapons!

I talked to Prescious and all of hers were 42 stones. There must be some mistake.

Wow that is a damn nice halberd. So anychance that your able to make the 42/43ish halberds with a bit more damage than what you have done in the past?

I dont mean to sound like I'm knocking your accomplishment just something that poped into my head.

Thanks,

So far, I'm still getting the same level of slice and puncture from the 42 stone halberds, but I havent really tried anything heavier than 46 stones. So far I have only forged one 37 stone halberd and am using it now to make sure it doesnt break. I am going to try to have about a dozen for sale by next weekend. Thanks

I went back to the forge to see if I could do better with a heavier weight. This is a comparison between a 63 stone halberd and a 37 stone halberd. Not much of a difference although I forgot to grind for balance on the 63 stone. Most likely there is only a 2 or 3 point differenct between the slice and puncture on the halberds.

You are certain that the halberd is about as strong as the halberd.
You are certain that the halberd is a little more balanced than the halberd.
You are certain that the halberd is somewhat less suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength than the halberd.
You are certain that the halberd does a little less puncture damage than the halberd.
You are certain that the halberd does a little less slice damage than the halberd.
You are certain that the halberd does about as much impact damage as the halberd.
You guess that the halberd weighs a little less than the halberd.
